Our passion lies in sharing these discoveries, revealing the city's hidden gems and its rich cultural tapestry.
I have been sharing my city with visitors and local folks alike since 2007, and founded The Hyderabad Walking Company in 2017.
I was professionally trained as an anthropologist and spent a few years working with various organisations including the World Bank, UNICEF and the Government of India as a field anthropologist.
I was bang in the middle of the first dotcom boom and bust in the early aughts, peddling my storytelling skills as a content manager. I spent a few years working for the Government of Singapore as a low level functionary.
Then I spent a bit over a decade running operations for a large corporation whose products you are most probably using to read this right now, before I struck out on my own with The Hyderabad Walking Company.
I also do a bit to make sure independent media remains independent.
Naveen and his team curate our walking tours to ensure that you are not inundated with information. Rather, we make it experiential - we provide the context for what you are experiencing and allow the breathing space for you to enjoy it in your own way. Our experiences keep evolving as new information comes to light and the city keeps changing.
